Editorial Policy
Arcade World covers gaming news for players. We aim to explain what is confirmed, what remains uncertain and what actually changes for the reader.
Sources and verification
News stories should link to the original announcement, filing, developer statement, store page or report whenever one is available. News and analysis normally require a second independent source. Rumors, estimates and interpretation must be labeled as such.
Original value
We do not publish rewrites simply because a topic is trending. A story should add useful context, a player consequence, first-hand experience, a comparison or an Arcade World point of view.
Dates, bylines and updates
Articles show their original publication date, author or editorial team and a modified date when a meaningful update is made. Dates are not changed only to make old material appear new.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Significant corrections should be explained in the article rather than silently changing the meaning of the original report. Readers can report an error through the contact page.
Images, sponsorship and conflicts
Images should be relevant and credited when required. Sponsored material, affiliate relationships, review access and other conflicts that could influence a story must be disclosed clearly.
AI and publishing tools
Software tools may assist with research organization, transcription, drafting or production. Published facts must still be checked against the linked sources, and the editorial team remains responsible for the final article.
